Script for working with ECU M74.9.1 produced by Itelma installed on GAZ cars. The GAZ M74.9 ECU (259.3765 004-01) is not supported yet. You can identify the ECU by requesting ID or number 259.3765 004-11. Everyone's sticker says M74.9.
 
Main features:
  • Identification.
  • Reading/resetting ECU errors.
  • Read/write the entire ECU memory (Full Flash 4MB). Excluding protected areas.
  • Read/write only the main program and 1mB firmware calibrations (2mB not factory-installed).
  • Accelerated recording of some calibrations with software compatibility control.
  • Read/write its program (with the registrar's data). Full 64kB recording is supported, or only the active 4KB segment is supported.
  • Read/write/edit the VIN area and identification data.
  • CS control in the firmware (BOOT area, main code and calibrations).
Firmware recording is available in the diagnostic (OBD) mode standard for the ECU, or in a special mode with more extensive features.
It is possible to work with the ECU in the car via the OBDII connector, or by connecting directly to it.
A J2534 adapter* is required for communication. It works with the standard firmware format.

Before to insert the USB key into your PC, be sure to install the driver for Guardant key:

  • Key driver x86
  • Key driver x64

The Program MasterEditPro

Instructions for initial activation of:

  1. To install the software and the dongle driver.
  2. To start the Upgrade key (start-all programs-MasterEditPro-Upgrade key or help menu) and send the generated FILE-request for update on info@ecupro.ru indicating your order number.
  3. After this do not generate new requests, and then sent the upgrade key will not install and will have to be regenerated.
  4. While the key is not activated, none of the module, the program will issue an error and will not see the key-this is normal.

Manual for subsequent activations of the modules:
