What is the MUX CAN+KLine Multiplexer version 2.0?
Functionally, the multiplexer is an electronic switch of electrical circuits (CAN and K-Line information buses) connecting the CAN and K-Line inputs of the ECU-Link 3 adapter to the necessary contacts of the diagnostic interfaces of the vehicle.
The switch is based on 19 high-quality semiconductor relays (type KAQY212S), which have a low transient resistance when the electrical circuit is switched on. The low switching resistance guarantees the transmission of pulse information signals without failures, and also allows (using the built-in ADC) to measure constant voltage levels at the contacts of diagnostic connectors with acceptable accuracy.
The inputs and power circuits of the multiplexer are protected from the effects of pulse interference and accidental "reverse polarity" of the power supply by protective elements: varistors, suppressors, self-restoring fuses.
The multiplexer is controlled by an integrated microprocessor, via commands coming from the AUTOAC-CARGO program, via the ECU-Link 3 diagnostic adapter.
The multiplexer is powered from the on-board network of the vehicle being diagnosed 12/24B.
The MUX CAN+KLine multiplexer is made in a plastic case with the ACELab logo. There is an LED indicator on the case and 2 connectors of type DV15. One is for connecting to the ECU-Link 3 adapter via a DB15 – DB15 cable, the other is for diagnostic cables.
Appointment
The multiplexer (MUX) is designed for:
automatic configuration (connection) of diagnostic CAN lines and the K-Line adapter "ECU-Link 3" to the necessary contacts of various types of diagnostic connectors (OBD-II, J1939, Deutz, etc.) of vehicles (TS) when selecting the appropriate diagnostic system in the AUTOAC-CARGO program.;
manual (arbitrary) connection of diagnostic CAN lines and the K-Line adapter "ECU-Link 3" to various contacts of diagnostic connectors of the vehicle;
testing the diagnostic connectors of the vehicle by checking the voltage levels (V) on their contacts to assess the presence of diagnostic interfaces from various vehicle systems on these contacts and their correctness.
The use of the multiplexer in the AVTOAS-CARGO program is turned on and off using the MULTIPLEXER in the upper corner of the system selection window, along with the status of the connected operator. A special tool for viewing in other programs. It is available to turn on/off, as well as activate various options and functions of the multiplexer.
The MUX CAN+KLine multiplexer also replaces the analogs DB15-CAN R, DB15-1KLine, DB15-3KLine, DB15-9KLine, DB15-WP, DB15-KMZ EBS3, and DB15-SITRAK*.
