PCMFlash 1.4.9-1 Released

On August 26, 2026, the PCMFlash developer released the new PCMFlash 1.4.9-1 update.

The new release expands support for Dongfeng/Fengshen vehicles, adds additional transmission ECU variants and significantly expands support for BMW MD1/MG1 ECUs produced after mid-2020.

Several smaller fixes and improvements have also been implemented.

Module 51 “Chinese Vehicle ECUs” now supports the MT22.3 ECU installed in Dongfeng/Fengshen vehicles.

Module 58 — Temic Transmission ECU

In Module 58 “Temic Transmission ECUs”, the EEPROM size used when working with the DQ400 robotic transmission ECU has been corrected.

The module supports DSG and CVT transmission ECUs, including memory reading and writing, external EEPROM operations and ECU cloning for supported units.

Module 82 — Bosch SH725XX TCU

Module 82 “Bosch SH725XX TCU Service Mode” now supports another variant of the 0D5/0D6 automatic transmission ECU.

The module is designed for service-mode operations with Bosch SH725XX transmission control units via direct ECU connection.

Module 92 — Bosch MD1/MG1: Newer BMW ECUs

One of the most important changes in PCMFlash 1.4.9-1 is the expanded support for BMW MD1/MG1 ECUs.

Module 92 “Bosch MD1/MG1 ECU Service Mode” now supports BMW MD1/MG1 ECUs produced after mid-2020and using TC29x microcontrollers.
